What we decided we needed was…
...a new life adventure plan!
Before the inertia of careers and family took hold, Dog and Dragon both dreamt of travelling the world. In 2022 we began concocting a somewhat seat of the pants plan to visit as many parts of the world as we could.
Tiffany began working as a cruise ship nurse in July 2023. Bob began helping people navigate the complexities of Medicare as an independent health insurance broker.
Now we are having unconventional experiences exploring the world on our terms, trading in our daily routine for regular adventures abroad. Tag along with us to share our adventures as we go.
Recent Posts
Blog Post and Category Updates (4/7/2026):
This blog began with the simple intent of keeping our friends and family updated on our overseas travels. Over time it has branched out to include a variety of topics resulting in a need to update the categories of our posts.
All of our travel diary type posts are now categorized under ‘Travel Log’. General travel information focusing on gear, travel specific concepts, and best of type posts are found under ‘Travel Insights’. If you are curious about specific destinations, they are categories by region and country.
One final change is that the post titles will no longer indicate the category. For example, ‘Travel Log: Cruising Greece and Turkey’ has been renamed simply ‘Cruising Greece and Turkey’ and categorized under ‘Travel Log’.
